Another.... Mutton Day -.-"

As promised... went to this Angeline's house for steak cooking on monday. Everyone was required to prepare one dish so that we can enjoy a dainty meal. So, introducing you all the chefs...

Angeline is in-charged of the spaghetti, mutton again okay? -.-" While miss white is required to make her so own "mash potato". We thought it would be something like KFC's one, but in fact just a simple mash potato... Still very tasty la okay? (*Oh ya thanks Angeline for reminding me to give credit to Carolyn for flavouring the potatoes. Or else... -.-") Carolyn also brought us some desserts, and me? Of course, the big chef haha!

This time the mutton is 70% cooked. Just nice. :)

Gosh... cannot believe that I eat mutton for 2 days continuously... PHOBIA!!!

Teriyaki Lamb Chop

I haven't been cooking steak for ages, as I was busy with my work like... almost every weekends. And since this weekend I'm off and next week is my study break, I suggested making lamb chop to my mum.

So on Sunday, after I woke up, I went to Giant nearby my house to prepare some ingredients needed for lamb chop.

1. 800g of mutton
2. Teriyak sauce
3. Spice
4. Brocoli & some potatoes

Rosemary leaves. To increase the taste of the mutton.

I dare not say I'm damn good in preparing steaks, however, this isn't my 1st time preparing it and I actually made many "experiments" before. Therefore my cooking skills (especially steaks) are quite good one okay?

Got back home, I took out the mutton and keep it unfreeze for about 2 hours. This is done so that the mutton are keep at the room temperature.

Next, of course, I washed it with filter water, and dried it in preparation for the next step, which is marinading. (*Remember to dry it before you marinade)

Then, of course, I marinaded the mutton with the teriyaki sauce and sprayed some flavouring on it. It should be marinaded for a minimum of 30 minutes before the mutton absord the taste.

Before I continue, do you all know that it's actually better to use a thick pan in cooking steaks as the heats are spread more evently. So at the time you put the steak on it, the steak will absord the heat.
So, come to preparation of the mutton, I poured some oil in the pan, and put the mutton down after heatting the pan until it's fiery-red.


Each side of the mutton are fried about 1 minute, then I transferred them to the oven to continue the cooking. In case you do not know, a lot of western restaurants prepare their steaks using the similar way as if you grill the steaks using pans, if would be over-cooked.

After grilling each side for 1 minute, it's then place in oven to continue cooking

The muttons are put inside the oven for about 5-6 minutes. (7-8 minutes if you're preparing beef.)

Dang Dang... a western mean is then prepared!~


Doesn't look delicious? Ya la because I do not possess a camera mah! These pics are taken using my mum's hp. However, frankly speaking, the taste is better than some of the western restaurants outside there. :)

Most of the time, when you want to know the girl's age but feel shy to ask, or the girl refuses to tell you... HEre's what you can do to know her age. ^.^

Ah Beng is a young and handsome college boy. One day, while walking on the street, he spotted a pretty, Ah Lian.

Ah Lian took out her phone and pressed a while... and answered *NOTE! Ah Lian is 40 years old!

Ah Lian : "80!"

Ah Beng calculated a while... then he ran away from Ah Lian... leaving the sad sad Ah Lian on the street... crying alone...

Here's how you calculate it, ask the girl uses her age, times by the number 67. Then you use the total times 3 again. The last 2 digits of the answer would be the girl's age.

So now you know why Ah Beng ran away :)

My 1st Visit to Laundry Bar

It's was really fun, as that is the first visit of me to Laundry Bar. Ok lar I know I'm outdate okay? I just hardly go clubbing.

So in this special occasion I was invited by miss white (Elsie) to Carolyn's birthday party @ Laundry bar last friday. I was told to tell Carolyn that my gang are not going, where in fact we planned to appear so sudden to give her a surprise. (We did it!)

In case some of you do not know, Laundry bar is actually under Italianese. (As in the menu, whether they are the same management I have no idea.) On that night we ordered some Italian sets, with appetizers, main course, then desserts... All appeared in a red, TOMATOES! I have phobia to tomatoes already I tell you.

Overall, the food there was nice, and price was reasonable as well.

Basically I don't know them really well as we only know each other for 2 weeks. So i just anyhow mixed around making friends, and took some pictures, which is for sure :)

The "fanfastic" four

Our birthday girl seemed so drunk... lol

The thing that caught my attention was, one of them served our birthday girl with this special "set" of drink. I have no idea what the hell does this thing call, but it look so cool to me! The servant arranged the glasses as shown in the pic, then he poured the liquor down slowly which emblazed by the fire, to mix with the alcohol below. Carolyn had to drink it using straw, which could make u drunk faster than usual.

Next time if you wish to buy cake for your friends, here's a good place that I recommend, RT cake house @ PJ section 15, nearby Public Bank. Of course, they didn't pay me anything to promote. Simply because I think the cakes there are really nice and worth trying. Instead of buying secret recipe's cakes always... Why not try this?

Daddy-long Legs

If you try to search for "daddy-long legs" in google, most probably you will arrive into the category of spider.

"Hi i'm daddy long legs spider!"

Like other spiders, this daddy long legs spider (Pholcidae) is believed to have the most potent venom of any spider. However, the sad thing is, its fangs are either too small to puncture to our human's skin.

If you're surprised why am I posting up all this disgusting pics, or wondered is my webby becomes an animal directory...

No lar!

It was because recent days my bathroom got this "long legs spider" (this is what i called them) appeared. So sudden some more! The thing is... IT HAS MORE THAN ONE! Oh no man!

It's like... I see three of them in my bathroom, then when I entered into my room, I see ANOTHER 2 there! I told my mum about it, and she said that they were "long leg mosquito"... Deng, spider and mosquito? Confusing la...

So I did some research on it... and I found out that those are actually some crane flies. Also known as "daddy long legs". According to Wikipedia, there are three types of daddy longlegs:

1. Crane flies (not venomous, live to mate and die)
2. Opiliones (eat small insects)
3. A true spider (like what I described at first)

So I think the one which I spotted in my bathroom are belong to the first category, crane flies. It's not what I called "long leg spider" nor what my mum called "long leg mosquito". (hopefully....)

Luckily those are not venomous insects. However, they did scare me off coz while I was bathing, they actually flew here and flew there... If these are really venomous... I have no idea what would happen...

Some Decisions I've Made

Alrite... this is simply another update.

Previously I complained about too much of work, making me no time for my studies, for my friends and family. Which I think it's so true, after calculating the opportunity costs of working every weekends.

Here's what I've calculated:

1. I got inadequate of time for my studies, tutorials, and assignments.
2. I don't really spend my weekends with my mum.
3. I frequent reject my friends' invitition. Eg. outing, party etc.
4. I don't have time to go for my work out.
5. Lastly, I don't have a time to find a gf.

Yeah getting paid is good, at least I have pocket money for my own spending instead of asking from my mum. However, I realised that I've sacrificed too much to work. My friends did ask me

"Kok fai why are you so hardworking? Are you facing financial problem?"

No I'm not. Just that... instead of lepak-ing at home, I would rather spend my time to work. So last time whenever my agent calls, I would just promise him to work regardless what outing I have for that particular weekend.

As many of you who know me well, succeed by 25 is what I've been saying. Able or not? I dare not say. But now I've arrive some decisions for myself at the moment.

1. From now on, I need to score HD (high distinction) in every subjects I take.
2. I need to go gym every week, at least twice, so that I can have a stronger body (I just want brawny abdomen lol...)
3. Be more sociable, and start contacting all my friends whom I've neglected.
4. Take up jobs only IF I'm free.

Sushi King Member Day

Guess what? Sushi King Member Day is here again! It's a day which my mum will never miss!


As usual, this year I followed my mum go and enjoy this special privilege given to all members. Where all the rice-based sushi on the Kaiten Belt cost only RM2/plate! Cool huh? Of course, special days like this... things like this is just unavoidable....

The queue is already so long while we reached there.

But... Since my mum and I are "Experts" in eating sushi, we know that we have to reach there by 6pm so that we don't need to wait and say "Chiew dai neng, keng gao siu".

The terrible thing of this year is... I went there two days continuously... First day with my family, while second day with Jaan wang and his gang. Now I can tell you that I'm having Sushi phobia.

No lar I'm not trying to show off! It's pretty cheap though. The dinner only cost us RM73 for four persons. Pretty cheap leH! So, if you love sushi and don't have a card yet, go apply then!

Sushi King does not pay me to promote but I think it's just so worth it. :)

Some Update

Life's getting so stressful recently. Mainly because I have been burying myself into work every weekends. Some more I involved myself in one online business recently, which is really making me headache.

"I don't even get a time to shit properly!"

Studies, assignments, tutorials, mid term tests, work... I realise that i'm isolating myself from my friends slowly! Damn...

Seriously, I have to apologise to you for all the rejections I've made (Eg. yumchar, party and so on...).

I'm sorry!

I've been keeping myself busy, and I don't know why. I feel so stressful now, I really need a breath of fresh air... Can someone help me out?

Should I give myself a break? Eg. stop working for Nikon? Time is getting more and more inadequate for me... If I have work on that particular weekend, there's no way for me to do my tutorials, revise my chapters.. If this routine continues, I don't think I'm able to score HDs in this semester, which I really want so desperately!

"Nah! Don't say no time! you better quit gaming first la!"

For your information, I haven't been touching games for a long time, as I've promised myself to quit gaming (I said that 2 years ago... sweat -.-")

I have no idea what I'm writting now... Maybe I just want to release my stress by writing my feelings out. Can someone tell me what I should do?

My mental is breaking down slowly... Sigh
